Liturgy Spirit God, blow into our lives, move us to action, break down the walls that separate us. Where our language divides, offer us translation. Where our fear overcomes, fill us with the fire of courage. Where our lives are becalmed, fill our sails with wind,...
Liturgy In the winds of trouble, we forget our roots. We see the inept rule, we see the violent prevail, we watch the poor go hungry. In the quiet hours, we forget our roots. We are full of noise, we clamor for our rights, we lament our place. In the good soil, we...
Liturgy How easily we retreat into ourselves. This week, it was a slight. This week, it was terrible news. This week, it was a paycheck. How easily we retreat into ourselves. How quickly we lose sight of your love. This year, it has been family. This year, it has been...
Liturgy Thank you, loving God, for the time to gather this morning to worship you. We seek your grace and peace as we walk through the dark days in our lives. Thank you for your promised rest, and the promise of your guiding Spirit. We come this morning to honor you...

Liturgy Think of a moment when someone that you least expected to see suddenly stands before you. A moment when something you had lost is found again, and you can scarcely believe your eyes. Think of a moment when your fear was suddenly proved unfounded and you were...
Liturgy O Christ, you entered the city as a poor man not not in style but in simplicity, yet still you caused uproar, and raised questions everywhere; you drew the expectations of a hungry crowd, and brought buried conflicts to the light. May we, who are sometimes...
Liturgy Restore us, O Living God, by the breath of your Spirit, for some of us are wilted and weary on this journey toward Easter, anxious for restoration to come once and for all. Hear our voices crying out amidst the ashes, where we hide to wait for a new day. Let...
