[Vox News] National Lasagna Day Edition

Sure, having a big bowl of spaghetti with all the trimming is great and all, but what if you didn’t want it looking like a big puddle of mess and would rather eat your pasta that came in the form of a brick? I’m sure that the inventor of lasagna thought the exact same thing after one too many ‘Oh-Crap-I-Just-Dripped-Sauce-All-Up-Ons-My-Shirt-Because-I-Slurped-My-Frickin’-Noodles-Too-Fast’ moments. Thanks to the creation of lasagna, we can eat our pasta like steak, with a fork and knife, with no worries about slurping anything, unless you’re the kind of eater who thinks it’s ok to slurp the lasagna residue off your plate. In that case, you can take your bad mannered self to the library and start reading up on proper table manners, my friend.

[Summer Neighborhoods]

Summer neighborhoods have commenced, and let me tell you, it’s been a doozie!! We will be spending the summer neighborhoods session discussing prayer, so if you’re interested in joining one of the 3 neighborhoods we have going on, send us an email and we’ll hook you right up! For a map of where each neighborhood group is meeting, you can find it here.

[Generosity Report – June]

Through your unswerving kindness and generous giving, this community has been tremendously blessed by your faithfulness and sacrificial living. For the details of June’s giving, you can download the report here. If you have any questions please email our treasurer.

[297 Collective]

No, Vox isn’t on the prowl for a date, nor are we trying to solicit help in matchmaking. We are, however wanting to let you all know that one of the Vox houses on the East Side is available to anyone who may be interested in moving into the neighborhood. This house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and lots of character. If you are looking for a place to live and are interested in exploring the possibility of living on the East Side, send us an email and we’ll help you change your housing status from “it’s complicated” to “in a relationship with…”
