Liturgy
Listen! God, our beloved Creator, whispers to us:
echoes of grace sound in our hearts,
hope resonates in our souls.
Listen! Christ, our Beloved friend, calls to us:
faithfulness is the life he shares,
generosity is the path we can follow.
Listen, the Holy Spirit, our beloved Peace, transforms us:
the voice of our Beloved sound through all creation,
welcoming all into the household of God.
Hear our Lord and answer his call.
We come before him today
as one community to worship
the name of the Father,
of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Congregational Prayer
In prayer, let us confess to God as a community.
Lord God,
help us lead lives worthy of the calling
you have given each of us.
We can not do this alone,
we dare not try this alone,
so we gather as your church, oh God.
Enable us to lead lives worthy of your Son’s sacrifice,
a life filled with service and meekness.
We come to build up Christ’s body,
in humility and gentleness,
with patience and love.
Strengthen us to lead lives which reflect your calling,
that life of peace grounded in the Spirit.
We rejoice in our oneness in Christ,
and freely share the grace offered to us.
We gather as God’s family
and pray in the name of the Father,
of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Reflection
What does it look like for us to follow Jesus through a daily rhythm?
How can Scripture be on the forefront of our mind?
Are there things we need to let go of and leave behind in order to follow Jesus?
Benediction
As you go from here,
remember the promise of God:
“I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue them and honor them.”
So go from here with joy,
confident that the love and mercy of God
is with you wherever and whenever you serve him.
In name of the Father,
of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Go in peace and live the church.
See you throughout the week.
