Everyday Theology Conference

On Friday, October 5, 7pm – Saturday, October 6, 3pm we will host the first ever Ecclesia Network Mid-South Regional event, in collaboration with the newly forming Missio Alliance. Our time will begin Friday evening with a presentation by Dr. Roger Olson, of Truett Theological Seminary and the Missio Alliance, on the need for embracing theology not merely as an academic […]

Vox Happy Hour

“See you throughout the week” — it’s a phrase we hear each week at Liturgy. In an effort to follow through with that commitment, we’ll be getting together at Cenote every Wednesday for Vox Happy Hour. This weekly event is open to anyone who may be new to Vox and hoping to engage with the community more, as well as […]

Parish Olympics

At Vox we always close by saying “see you throughout the week,” because Sunday is only a small part of living the church. This is hard because we’re busy, we’re spread out, and some of us don’t even know each other. Parish events are your opportunity to meet people who live close enough to share life with people throughout the […]

Lunch and Swim

Join us this Sunday for an afternoon in the Space12 neighborhood.  We will have lunch at Dan’s Hamburgers and an afternoon swim at the Givens Park swimming pool.  The pool opens at 1pm and admission is free.  Remember to properly defend yourself from the Texas sun.  Swim, swim, swim! Kebab Night Out

Join us August 11th at 7pm for conversation, prayer and a skype party with E about Central Asia.  You’ll also hear about Team Submarine, five friends going to be with E and scheme about future projects.  This trip will take place in late September.  There will be kebabs, nan and honeydew, mango & habanero ice cream.  A suggested donation of […]

Generosity Vision Meeting

This Sunday (July 15) after liturgy, we’ll have a chance to dream about how our financial resources as a church can be used in our neighborhood and our local and global partnerships. We should have some additional funds by the end of this fiscal year (end of August) due to our community’s generosity and we need your input to decide […]

Parish Pub Quiz Lunch

“See you throughout the week.” It’s the charge we end our liturgy with every week at Vox. But this is harder than it sounds. It’s hard to hang out with people who we’ve never met. It’s hard to drive across town to see people we barely know. What if we could find a way to live the church with those […]
