Last year, we partnered with Chris and Jenny Hoskins through our denomination, the Evangelical Covenant Church, to support their missionary work with pastoral care in Ecuador. The Hoskins are very close to their fundraising goal, and sent us this update to share. If you’d like to learn more about the Hoskins, there are a few resources below.
First, have been approved and have received our visas to live and work in Ecuador! We spent a long day last week at the Ecuadorian consulate (over 7 hours!), but walked away with visas in hand. Grateful that this step in the process was relatively smooth and is out of the way.
Secondly, we are 97% sustainably funded! So close! We continue to be thankful for Vox’s financial partnership and commitment to walk with our family and the Ecuadorian Covenant Church. If we have just one family or individual from each of our supporting churches join our monthly support team at a donation of $25 a month, we will be fully funded!
Please continue to pray with and for our family as we reach our goal of being 100% funded and each day draw closer to our transition to Ecuador. We are grieving the loss of our community here in Chicago that has been a place of growth, encouragement and deep friendship for our family but are also excited to return to all that awaits us in Quito.
Peace,
Chris, Jenny, Breck and Elsa
