Becky’s Birthday Bonanaza

If you’ve been to Vox, chances are you’ve met our beloved Becky, the lovely lady who sells flowers by CVS on the Drag and helps keep Space12 beautifully immaculate during the week. This past Tuesday (August 9th) was her birthday, and we would love to invite the Vox community to join in on the celebration. This Sunday, we will have a massive cake made by one of Austin’s premier bakeries and would love for as many mouths as possible to completely obliterate this mass of baked goodness. In addition to the cake, we would love to help Becky purchase a few things that have been on her birthday wishlist, which include:

• Clothes
• Shoes
• A rolling cart
• Cash monies (to help with her utility bill)

If you are interested in contributing to the Becky birthday fund, there are a few suggested options:

1. HEB or clothing store gift cards – Much of what Becky needs is available at HEB, so gift cards from there would be magnificent. Or if there is a clothing store you think Becky would love to get clothing from, feel free to pick up a gift card from there.
2. Cash – The Texas heat has been doing a number on most everyone’s utility bill, and Becky is no exception. Since she is paying for her own utilities, one way to support her is giving cash to help with her utility bill.
