For those of you who were at this past Sunday’s liturgy, you were undoubtedly treated to an awesome performance by Chi-Town who is part of The Cipher. The Cipher works to empower and inspire East Austin youth through hip hop and community involvement.
As one of the partners of Space12, The Cipher has their meetings every Monday and Tuesday night, which includes dinner. This is sometimes the only meal the kids will get that day, and they rely on dinner donations. If you would like to help out and provide a dinner for 18 youth, please email Sam.
A couple of other needs that The Cipher is looking for help with are donations for bus passes (which cost $200/month) and part-time jobs for youth.
