Are you confused? Do you know what a farrier is? Or should I say, WHO farriers are? Well, let me tell you!!! A farrier is is a specialist in equine hoof care, including the trimming and balancing of a horse’s hoof and the placing of shoes to the horse’s foot. (courtesy of Wikipedia). If you’re a farrier, we salute you and all the shoe mongering you provide to our beloved horses and ponies around the world. I say we start a petition to have shoe designers to contribute a sweet pair of kicks for our beloved Equus ferus caballus. Can’t wait to see a pair of Bruno Magli or Salvatore Ferragamo at the next Kentucky Derby!! DEEEEEEEEE-LISH!!!

Families – Saturday @ 11am

[Calling All Drivers!!]
One of our own, Becky Hwang, has been getting rides every Sunday to join us for our Liturgy. We are in the process of trying to find more people to help pick her up from her trailer and bring her to Space 12. If you have a car and are willing to serve Becky by picking her up in the morning, please send an email to Emily, our Local Partnerships coordinator.
[Comedy Improv Tuesdays]
Living Room Show – Space12 is hosting comedy improv on Tuesday July 21st at 8:30pm. Cast members of The New Movement divide into two groups and perform alternating “living room” style improv comedy. The first group generates information for scenes with conversational storytelling which is performed by the second group. After 30 minutes, the groups switch and the performers become the storytellers.
[Free Movie Wednesdays]
There will be a bi-weekly film showing hosted by KIPP, an organization that works with AISD to empower underserved students here in the Austin community. Every other Wednesday this summer starting at 7pm, there will be a free film playing at Space 12, so come enjoy a film if you can!

[BYOM – Bring Your Own Mug]
Because food is such a great catalyst for community, we plan to have delectable edibles and drinkables available every Sunday morning during our liturgies. Although it would be easy to buy disposable cups for the drinks, we want to be an environmentally conscious community and ask that everyone bring their own mug. This way, you’ll not only feel more at home, but we can all do our part in reducing unnecessary waste.
