This Sunday marks our final liturgy at Mosaic. If you’re in Austin, join us as we have our final liturgy at 5619 Airport Blvd and bid farewell to a beautiful gathering space we’ve called home for the last couple years.
Our Sunday Liturgy is at 11:00 AM at Mosaic (5619 Airport Blvd…for the last time). Join us as we begin our journey through the church calendar known fondly around the world as the Lectionary.
[Get Your Move On!!]
Since this Sunday marks our final liturgy at Mosaic, we will be making the transition to become the newest tenants at Space12.
That’s right!! Starting next Sunday, June 7th, Vox will begin having our Sunday morning Liturgies at Space 12 (3121 East 12th Street) at 11am. So it’ll be the same time, but different place. We’re really excited about this change of venue, and are looking forward to being a good neighbor to the community. As we begin the relocation process, there are a few things we wanted to make you all aware of. First things first:
1. Carpool/Biking Encouraged
One of the challenges we will be facing/addressing is enough parking for the Vox community. To help alleviate this, we encourage you all to try carpooling or biking to Space 12.
2. Thank You, Mosaic!!
It has been a tremendous blessing to have shared a space with an amazing church community like Mosaic. Not only have they been extremely generous hosts, but a great source of encouragement and inspiration by modeling what it means to be the body of Christ in the city.
[Skillshare Austin May 30-31 at Space12!]
This weekend, Skillshare Austin will be hosting it’s second annual weekend skillshare with 2 full days of workshops on the themes of transportation, sustainable urban homesteading, parenting/childcare, and arts/media, along with activities for kids. We’re having someone share their thoughts on Spiritual Formation to wrap up our spring conversation and then we’ll be having a BBQ lunch right after. Everyone’s invited, so come on out! If you have any questions, please email us.
[BYOM – Bring Your Own Mug]
Because food is such a great catalyst for community, we plan to have delectable edibles and drinkables available every Sunday morning during our liturgies. Although it would be easy to buy disposable cups for the drinks, we want to be an environmentally conscious community and ask that everyone bring their own mug. This way, you’ll not only feel more at home, but we can all do our part in reducing unnecessary waste.
[Rides to Vox]
If you live on campus and are in need of a ride on Sunday morning to join us for Liturgy, please email us and we’ll hook you up. If you could send an email by 11pm on Friday, that would be greatly appreciated.
