Liturgy, Reflection and Benediction 2017.11.19

Liturgy

God of justice, peace and righteousness,
be in our midst this morning.
Breathe your breath,
your Spirit of life,
your energy,
your enlivening,
your imagination on us.

Wake us up,
Open our eyes,
Unplug our ears
that we might hear,
that we might see,
that we might grieve,
that we might dream,
that we might follow the ways
of your extraordinary kingdom.

May we find both rest and strength
in your eternal love for us.

We pray to you,
our God, the Creator,
Christ, the Savior,
and Holy Spirit, our breath of life.
Amen.

Benediction

May the God of Creation,
the God of seas and skies,
be with you always.

May the God of the forest,
the God of grass and glade,
fill you with the sap of life,
transform you into the image
of his Son, and grow you into
a community of faithfulness.

Let us go from here,
serving in the name
of the Father,
of the Risen Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Go in peace and live the church.
See you throughout the week.
