The Vox Care Team helps connect individuals in the Vox community with resources that support them in their journey.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
While we each carry our own load of daily stresses and struggles in our lives, there are times in which these loads become burdens that we are not meant to carry alone. The Vox Care Team seeks to come alongside the members of our community who are experiencing additional life burdens, which may include losses, new additions to families, desirable and undesirable changes, relational growth, existential crises and like, need for prayer, and just the general reminder that we’re not as crazy as we think we are or we are totally crazy but our craziness isn’t all that special – smile – translation “you’re not alone”.
Offerings from the Care Team:
- Facilitates and networks care resources – from listening and prayer to helping you find a counselor and many things in between
- Supports the spontaneous care that is already happening in the Vox community and helps fill in gaps when possible
- Training and coaching in care skills (individually, midweek groups, ministry teams, etc….)
If you would like to connect with us to share a need or a burden you’re welcome to send an email.
Meal Train Calendar
Whether you recently had a baby or are experiencing debilitating health issues, our community would love to support you by providing meals. Please fill out a signup form if you are looking for this type of support.
We have compiled a list of resources available through the city and other organizations that provide care services, counseling, housing and food needs. It is a working list and is growing as we discover other resources. Feel free to send any suggestions our way as well.
We look forward to sharing a piece of the journey with you!
