Austin will be having a city wide cleanup event on Sat, Apr 14 from 9-11am (KAB Clean Sweep 2012). We will be joining with the McKinley Heights Neighborhood to clean up parts of 12th Street and the creek behind Mabson Field which is in Downs Park (map). The plan is to work in small teams and with gloves and garbage bags provided by KAB to pick up as much debris as possible.
So come on out to help and be a great neighbor!
